1895 - Oscar Wilde is arrested (in the Cadogan Hotel, London) after losing a libel case against the John Sholto Douglas, 9th Marquess of Queensberry.
No such a jolly time for Oscar Wilde. Naughty.
1930 - Gandhi raises a lump of mud and salt and declares, "With this, I am shaking the foundations of the British Empire." Thus he starts the Salt Satyagraha.

1978 -Birth: Myleene Klass, British singer
In December 2005, Klass was attacked by a group of teenagers in a newsagent in Bermondsey. Klass had a bag of chips dropped on her head. The teenagers attempted to take photos of Klass on their mobile phones.
2009 - BEADESAURUS LAUNCHED THEIR NEW SITE AND IT WAS SWEEEEEEEEET AND LOTS OF PEOPLE BOUGHT THINGS ON IT AND THEN THERE WAS WORLD PEACE AND HAPPINESS ABOUNDED!
